Books: Irish Poetry This is the very scarce 1st Edition of this book by Miceal O Maille with contributions from Tomas O Maille who was involved with the Gaelic League. Published in 1905 by Connrad Na Gaedilge this copy has 223 pages. There is a Memorandum telegraph note pasted in on the rear cover to a Mr. P. Keenan, Burrenreagh, Castlewellan, Co. Down from the publishers M. H. Gill outlining that the book is only issued in cloth binding. This telegram is dated the 7th of May 1906. There is also a press cutting from the 'Leitrim Observer' about County Leitrim Gaelic Verse. This copy is showing some signs of fading on the cover and the corners are a bit bumped. There are also handwritten notations on the front endpage and a few other notations within the book nearly all of which are in pencil. Otherwise this book is in good clean condition throughout.
