Payment Options
All items can be paid for through Paypal with a credit card or via a Paypal account if you have one. Please ensure that you enter the exact and correct name and address shipping details. By paying for your purchases through Paypal you can have complete confidence that all your personal credit card details remain completely private to you.
Alternatively I can accept payments by phone where you can give your credit card details directly to me and I can put them trough the terminal in my shop. I can accept Visa, Mastercard, and Laser. All payments made this way require your full name, card number, expiry date and the 3 digit code from the back of the card. I would also need a confirmatory email giving your address, the item you are buying and the price plus permission to use the card given by phone.
I also accept cheques, bank drafts and postal orders. All such payments should be made out to John Donohoe or John's Bookshop. I suggest these payments be sent by registered post to me at the shop subsequent to an email request for the item you wish to buy and the method you wish to pay by. The longest period an item will be held for if you are intending to post on the payment is 2 weeks.
